RedPath shares your concern regarding your patient's insurance coverage when selecting the PathFinderTG® test. We are patient-centric with a goal to minimize any financial burden for your patients whenever possible.
We are pleased to announce that PathFinder TG is now approved for Medicare reimbursement for all Part-B claims, regardless of patient or physician location. In addition, PathFinderTG is covered for Part-A claims in PA, MD and DC. RedPath is actively working with the Part-A fiscal intermediaries in other states to gain adoption of the Highmark Medicare Services coverage article. The details of that article can be found by clicking on this link.

For all other third party payers, RedPath will take responsibility for the direct billing of all claims. If a Third Party claim is denied, we will work with the patient to submit up to 3 appeals to their insurance company. This process may require support from the ordering physician. If an insurer does cover PathFinderTG testing, patients may still have some financial responsibility for deductible or co-insurance amounts. RedPath never bills physicians directly unless requested by the physician.
Our Patient Assistance with Reimbursement (PAR) program is one of the most generous programs in the clinical laboratory arena. It is possible, based on income and certain fixed expenses such as mortgage/rent, car payments and school tuitions, that we can lessen or eliminate financial responsibility for many patients. This program is intended for patients of all income levels. We encourage all patients and physicians to contact us at (866) 445-6719 at any point in the testing or billing process for details about our PAR program.
For patients with no insurance, please have your office call us at (800) 495-9885 to obtain information on our Uninsured Patient Program. |
