Molecular Diagnostics Company, RedPath, Appoints Jack Davis to Board of Directors

Pittsburgh, PA, August 20, 2009 – RedPath Integrated Pathology, Inc., a molecular diagnostics company dedicated to the effective diagnosis and treatment of cancer, today announced that it has appointed Jack Davis to RedPath’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Davis brings more than forty years experience in Life Science executive management to RedPath. He has helped entrepreneurs and investors bring their breakthrough technologies to the market for the benefit of cancer patients and their health care providers.

Mr. Davis’ professional career includes co-founder, President/COO and later CEO, of Dianon Systems, Inc., which he built from a venture capital backed start-up to a $200 million leading provider of cutting edge Clinical and Anatomic Pathology based solutions for clinicians. Previously, he was the Division Vice President and General Manager of Abbot Diagnostic’s $100 million worldwide Diagnostic Products business unit. Mr. Davis has also served on the Board of Directors of over twelve companies; taken two companies public as CEO and sold three other companies as either Chairman or Director.

Currently, Mr. Davis serves on the Board of Directors of Claros Diagnostics Inc., a leading developer of point of care diagnostic test systems; Laboratory Partners, Inc., a large regional full service clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory company; and Collages.Net, Inc., a leading web based source for products and services serving the professional photography industry. In addition, Mr. Davis is non-executive Chairman of the Board of Asterand, Inc., a publically traded, leading provider of human tissue and tissue services used in drug discovery and development by the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry.
